Construction on Washington Street is progressing in phases. Currently, eastbound lanes are closed from State Avenue through Hamilton Avenue, with traffic detoured south on State Street to Southeastern Avenue, then east to English Avenue, and north on Emerson Avenue back to Washington Street.
Beginning September 14, Washington Street between Pleasant Run Parkway and Emerson Avenue will have restricted lanes for sanitary sewer construction. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
Starting on or after November 1, eastbound Washington Street from Emerson Avenue to Ritter Avenue will close for storm sewer construction, lasting approximately 160 days. Westbound traffic will be maintained in one lane.
Westbound lanes will remain open, as will our main entrance. Prepare to turn LEFT into our parking lot from E Washington Street
The eastbound lane will be closed between State Street and Emerson for the duration of the construction.
